This page documents various prototypes of PSP-E100x.
Bilbo is the codename for PSP-E100x.

internal digits confirmed this unit is about 2 weeks earlier than DVT.

Differences

The buttons at the lower are still unfinished.
The plastic material of casing is almost finished, however the material around the d-pad and buttons are shiny instead of matte.
Both plain white label and PSP-E10XX label can be found on the battery.

Serial

Serial sticker is missing.
Instead, "SAMPLE NOT FOR SALE" label can be found on the bottom.

Some of them are QA flagged.
Also referred as LION DVT internally.

Differences

The buttons at the lower differ from late prototypes and retails.
The plastic material of casing is smooth instead of matte.
Label on the battery is plain white.
Some units were found with colorful labels pictured above.

Serial

Datecode is 1B.
TSP code is "0x-TSP180xU".
It can't be found on the serial sticker though, scanning the barcode reveals it.
Example: "SERIAL No.0000XXX DATECODE 1B"

PSP-E10XX label can be found on the battery.
Some units were found with colorful labels pictured above.

Serial

Datecode is 1B.
TSP code is "0x-TSP180xU".
First two digits of serial are censored. (at least on some units)
Example: "SERIAL No.--0000XXX TSP1804U 1B"

VA1 PVT

Another Product Validation Testing Stage Prototype.
Some of them are QA flagged.
Also referred as BILBO VA1 PVT internally.
"VA" probably stands for "Value Analysis".

Non-Working Dummy

Non-working dummy console without UMD drive, main board, battery etc.
Casing is equal to retail.
No serial sticker.
